ABC Car Hire is Launceston’s go to cheap car hire company.
The office is located directly opposite the Launceston Airport.
All rentals are covered by unlimited kilometers, RACT roadside support and roadside vehicle replacement if required.
Our rentals do not require a bond unlike the major vehicle providers.
As an independent company the cars are not brand new, in fact some of the vehicles are over ten years old. If you want a new car we would recommend going with one of the bigger providers but if you want to save a few dollars, still be in a reliable vehicle and have one on one service we are a better option.
ABC Car Hire operates pick up and returns from Launceston only.

Our small cars are good for 1-2 adults traveling and maybe a small child as these cars are typically only 2 doors. They have smaller luggage area but are small and easy to move around the city and light on fuel making travelling cheaper. An example is a Hyundai Accent or Nissan Pulsar
MEDIUM CARS
Our 4 door medium cars are designed for 2 adults and 2-3 small children with limited luggage area for a large family but are cheap to run and easy to move Tasmania. If you have any baby seat requirements then I would recommend at least a medium sized vehicle. Example Hyundai Elantra.
LARGE CARS
Our Large cars are designed for moving the family around with the luxary of the extra room for 4-5 adults or children with the extra luggage room for your travles but are bigger harder to drive around in tight areas around the city but if looking at traveling right around Tasmania. Example Toyota Camry
