Travel Restrictions in Tasmania
ABC Car Hire does not limit where in Tasmania you can travel, or what type of roads you can drive on.ABC Car Hire allows all of its vehicles to go on unsealed roads, giving full access to Tasmania’s National Parks and Forestry tourist attractions like Tahune Air Walk. Furthermore, you are free to travel to beautiful Bruny Island on the ferry.
Overseas drivers must either have an international license or an english-translated license.
Bronze Included In Price
Bronze Liability Protectionis the standard liability option. This package is included in the initial quoted and agreed price. Your maximum liability is $4500. This does not cover:
- damage to any internal fixture and fittings of the vehicle.
- windscreen damage or breakages;
- tyres and/or repairs;
- any towing or retrieval costs;
- overhead and under carriage damage.
Silver: $12 per day
Silver Liability Protection reduces the liability fee in the case of loss or damage to $2000 This does not cover:
- damage to any internal fixture and fittings of the vehicle.
- windscreen damage or breakages;
- tyres and/or repairs;
- any towing or retrieval costs;
- overhead and under carriage damage.
Gold: $22 per/day
Gold Liability Protection (GLP) is the premium liability package and your maximum liability with this cover is $500
This includes:
- damage to any internal fixture and fittings of the vehicle.
- windscreen damage or breakages;
- tyres and/or repairs;
- any towing or retrieval costs;
- overhead and under carriage damage.
